This is the first installment of Conversations with Lexi and I wanted to kick it off with Ja'Rahn. Marlee D- Tell Him
I dare you to tell me that this song isn't dope....the lyrics are real talk and I love the production. I just learned of this young lady today but I'm a fan already. She's from Washington D.C and she sings and raps. Check out more of her music at www.reverbnation.com/marleed...I'm sure you'll be a fan too
Yung Oki-Dr.Frankenstein
This song is bananas....from the minute it came on, my head was nodding. It features Jae Ace and Naykol...here it is...

Taryn Mai
Talk about a girl that can sang....I love Taryn's voice. I had the pleasure of meeting here while we worked together and she sang at karaoke and nobody expected that powerful voice to come out of that little body. She writes her own music and I see her going far. She's really focused, ambitious, and has all the makings of a start. Check her out at reverbnation.com/tarynmychalmai to hear all her music. I think my favorite song is Overanalyzed but her version of Marvin's Room with Tony Cash is dope.....You can watch videos of hers at www.youtube.com/tarynmai and follow her @tarynmychalmai for some positivity

Night Shadowz
So my homie T makes music, he's apart of Black Vegaz and they are really dope. I like this song and you all might too...
Kooley High
A collective of 6 artists who met in college and formed H20 which turned into Kooley High. They make nice hip hop music that you can vibe and groove to. Thee Tom Hardy
So I'm sitting here talking music with my Kinfolk and she asked if I heard of The Tom Hardy. I've read about him but I've actually never heard any of his music until now and it was so not what I expected. I came across a song called Off The Radar and it was pretty slick. I gotta listen to more of Thee Tom Hardy, he's got me interested....
No Church In A While
The homie Ja'Rahn Leveston has a new mixtape out...No Church In A While. Go download it at www.mixtapefactory.com. You can pop this mixtape in and let it play from start to finish. Every track is pretty dope, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the No Church In A While joint. You can expect an interview featuring the man himself coming your way very soon. It's no secret that I'm a fan of Ja'Rahn's music and this mixtape made me an even bigger one. I see Ja'Rahn going far in this music thing. So far he's been consistent and I always look forward to new music from him.

If you are from Milwaukee and you know the local rap scene then you definitely know who Baby Drew is....my dad has to know like every Baby Drew song ever made and I remember my brother used to play his music all the time when he was in high school and in his early 20's. Paranormal Karaoke
I'm pretty sure The Cranberry Show is about to blow up and since they're my favorite artists in Milwaukee right now I can't do anything but support them and their movement. We need to get behind them because if we do, that'll be a really good look for Milwaukee. They are consistently good and I've yet to be disappointed by anything they've put out. Paranormal Karaoke has everything you expect from the guys....quality lyrics, comedy, and banging beats. My favorite song probably is A Groupie Ballad for now...it'll change. Here's Traffic Lights and Sail for you guys to enjoy....
